We are super excited to get out of the house and go for a Nature Walk with our favourite Nature enthusiast Allison Gilby.
We are going to meet just up the road from our normal Life.School.House - East Hants Location, and meet at the Nine Mile River Trails (3 minutes from Country Lane)
Allison, who runs a Nature based Play School, has a small homestead, and is a beloved Girl Guide Leader will show how to ID different plants/trees, and organisms in the woods, and share some resources to help us know what we are looking at in the woods while we go on a hike on the main loop, and if we have time, down to the river.
This is an all ages event, with limited tickets.
If this is your first time attending a barter-based skills-trade class, note that attendees are encouraged to bring an item(s) to offer in exchange for the knowledge shared in addition to any supplies required for the class. Our facilitator's preferred items are listed below to help identify fair trades:
- Allison has asked for items for the food bank as her barter item for this event.
There is no fee associated with this ticket but please do not just indicate "coming" on the event - we've found this is not an accurate capture of attendees. If you have any difficulty registering you can send us an email to candirp83@gmail.com or on Facebook.
Looking forward to seeing you!
